KishRIFFS

Singer, songwriter, and bandleader of the local alt-rock, indie-ska band The Full Uplift, Stephen Kish is an engaging big, barrel-chested troubadour, singing original songs about the human condition: Sometimes fun and frolicky, but also cognizant of the struggles we all face in this wonderful journey, hurtling through the vast darkness and vacuum of space. He's also unearthed many classics, some eclectic B-sides, and seldom heard Pub songs on the fringe. His "Riff-acana" guitar style is based on folk/rock/fingerpicking/and Blues & Rock influences from the Golden Era of guitar heroes: altered tunings and higher soni-consciousness. Living Room

You would think that mixing two Millenials with a Gen X and a Boomer would lead to immediate band breakup but somehow these good souls have defied the odds to bring you a pleasant groove, cafe-esque approach to songs new (ish) and old. And some danceable numbers. Our goal is a great deck vibe and seeing happy customers eating rice with rhythm. Caitlin Cordell singing clear and sweet, Andy McConkey singing with heart and soul, Benjamin Washam singing and playing about everything and Curtis Edwards bringing his baritone and bass lines.
