Hot Damn Scandal

Hot Damn Scandal

Hot Damn Scandal finds its songs under park benches and in forgotten alleyways, on the corner of Tom Waits and Gershwin. The resulting outlaw ballads, dirty jazz, circus freakouts, shanty-rags, string band funk, lonesome heart-breakers, and whiskey bottle love songs blend together in what may be best described as 'Cabaret Americana': theatrical, orchestral, lyrical, and endlessly danceable

Lawrence Jazz Duo

Jupiter is very excited to have these special folks back to the deck (and the valley) for a third year running…

Bossa nova, Swing, Bebop, reimagined covers, and original songs where guitar builds the foundation for the melodies and solo improvisations of the tenor ukulele. Dale's lush guitar work uses bass lines, chord stylings and rhythm that supports Shelly's warm tones on the tenor uke.

Decades of performances up and down the west coast at wineries, art galleries, and restaurants have helped the duo create an intimate sound that is both easy listening and detailed jazz at the same time.

KishRIFFS

Singer, songwriter, and bandleader of the local alt-rock, indie-ska band The Full Uplift, Stephen Kish is an engaging big, barrel-chested troubadour, singing original songs about the human condition: Sometimes fun and frolicky, but also cognizant of the struggles we all face in this wonderful journey, hurtling through the vast darkness and vacuum of space. He's also unearthed many classics, some eclectic B-sides, and seldom heard Pub songs on the fringe. His "Riff-acana" guitar style is based on folk/rock/fingerpicking/and Blues & Rock influences from the Golden Era of guitar heroes: altered tunings and higher soni-consciousness. "Fun guitar playing, Fast Riffs and Heavy Energy sing alongs!

Living Room

Living Room

Our band, Living Room is comprised of four terrific humans:

Caitlin’s Cordell. Drummer/Singer extraordinaire and tattoo artist to the highly evolved.

Benjamin Washam. Pianist, vocalist, guitar wielder and parent of two funny and interesting boys who he’s pretty sure are his…

Curtis Edwards. Bassist, vocalist and former astronaut.

Andy McConkey. Guitar butcher/vocal cosplay. Part time cankle model.

Living Room grew into a gigging band out of the enjoyment of playing music with friends in a laid back, depressurized environment. We’ve tried to bring that vibe to our shows.

We seek out songs that fit the vibe we’ve fallen into. Songs that often aren’t super recognizable. Ya ain’t gonna be hearing Free Falling or More Than a Feeling at one of our gigs.

So here’s to summer music, kindness, righteous vibes and fighting the patriarchy.
